    I am not the person who stayed in July, but his/her review was helpful so I will give an update based on points in that review.
    1) The unit was clean when we checked in except for some sticky spots on the floor in one of the bed rooms.
    2a) One light bulb was still burnt out. As pointed out earlier, it gets dark almost as soon as you can check in, so light is essential.
    2b) Still on the topic of light, there is no outside light. It would have been nice to be able to see the steps, door lock, stuff on the deck (i.e dropped keys), etc. - especially while moving in.
    3) Parking was fine for us. From the picture, you can see a bricked area in front of the unit. We had one vehicle that we parked lengthwise in that area. I saw cars parked like that at many of the units. We had enough room to fully open all doors, and were well off the street.
    4) We had no issues with the AC. In July it was probably 30 degrees warmer than October, maybe that was more than the AC could handle, or maybe it had been serviced, but we had no problem with the main unit staying cool.
    5) The oven set off the smoke detector each time it was used. The front left eye of the stove smoked as soon as it was turned on, so we avoided using that one eye.
    6) The sliding door still leaks. The previous review saved me from wet clothes.
    7) The unit had some games. That was a nice touch.
    8) Be careful with the hot water in the kitchen. It gets scaldingly hot real quick. Great for washing dishes, but hurtful the first time you use it and aren't prepared.
    9) The toilet tank arm had been repaired with a zip tie. Every flush, the arm would get stuck on top of the overflow tube, so you had to take the lid off the tank and fix the arm or the water would run forever.

    Overall, we had a great stay here. Just be sure to fix that leaky door, or, at the minimum, put a warning sign on the floor in front of it letting people know that area floods so they wont pu

    The unit was left dirty to the point it was like walking on the beach and the tub was full of hair and sand. I had to clean before unpacking. The room with sliding doors leaks badly that we were not made aware of during storms and soaked all the clothes in my bag. It also does not cool off with the rest of the unit. We had to replace light bulbs the night we arrived as offices were closed at 5 so we had to go BACK out just for light bulbs to see. I really feel check in and office closing times are bad as offices close an hour after check in leaving NO TIME to check in, and to be sure we have what we need. I'd appreciate a sooner check in time to be sure we are settled. We love lake wood and this year they started party at the beach and that was AMAZING I hope they keep doing that as well. A lot of units do not have room for parking, this unit is one of them. I feel if there is no room to park a vehicle, there should be FREE parking available for the units that do not have a parking space as there was NO WAY we could squeeze my small traverse between the units were it seems you could park or the front without being in the actual road and in the way. I am aware there is extra parking for a charge, but with the price of unit rentals, it should be FREE to the ones who do not have a parking space. The last question asks if I would recommend the property to a friend; I would if these issues are fixed and corrected. The leaking NEEDS to be made aware to potential customers as that was RIDICULOUS, FIX THAT! A CHEAP DUCT TAPE band aid will NOT fix that.. REPLACE THAT DOOR AND CALK the proper way! People pay good money to stay there and the owners are allowing this problem to ruin their unit further. That is poor ownership. ( 1. fix leak 2. be sure units are cleaned and maintained thoroughly 3. need parking) The ac unit was goofy shutting down on its own randomly and not starting back up without a lot of fiddling with it. We'd come back to a HOT unit. Needs service!
